About the Program

The NS Unite Student Ambassador serves as an advisor on our Board of Directors, bringing the perspective of North Summit's youth into every decision we make about arts, culture, and community programming.
It's a working seat — not honorary. Our ambassador shapes events, weighs in on programs, and represents NS Unite throughout the year. The scholarship recognizes that work and helps invest in the student's future.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an advisor on the NS Unite Board
- Attend scheduled board meetings
- Attend NS Unite events and help as needed
- Represent the next generation of North Summit voices
Who should apply
- North Summit area student
- Passion for arts, culture, heritage, or community service
- Willing to commit to a one-year ambassador term
- Strong communicator — written, spoken, or creative
